Signed for deliveries
All electric scooter and bike orders are sent via a courier. All deliveries will need to be signed for, whether by yourself, a household member, or a neighbour with your permission.
Failed deliveries
If you are away from the delivery address and a neighbour cannot sign for your delivery, then our chosen courier will contact you or leave a card with details of how to arrange a redelivery or collection from the local depot.
The item will be returned to RetroActive if the courier unsuccessfully attempts to deliver the order to you on three occasions.
Returned items will be added back into our stock and your account credited with the order total, minus the fee the courier charges to deliver the item back to us. You will need to re-order your item to have it re-shipped.
Incorrect delivery details
RetroActive cannot be held responsible if a customer inputs any incorrect address details on their order, which causes the item to be delivered incorrectly. The customer assumes full responsibility for all delivery details supplied at the point of order.
If you think that you have entered incorrect delivery details after placing an order, please contact our customer service team as quickly as possible with your order number so that we can help to rectify the issue. Please contact sales@retroactive.uk or call +44 020 3290 6555.
Pre-Assembly
Easy set-up
In most cases there is a small amount of assembly required for both e-scooters and e-bikes. An e-bike may need its handlebars straightening, pedals fitting, and Seatpost setting to the right height. We provide handy simple instructions inside the box.
E-scooters usually need less setup time, normally needing just the handlebars or stem of the e-scooter to be attached. The tools and bolts needed come packaged with the e-scooter.
If you need help assembling your e-bike or e-scooter and you are in close proximity to our Hertfordshire HQ, just north of London, we can pre-assemble your bike or scooter and deliver in person, please contact us to discuss.
